Help, help - need to know what's on in your area this half term asap!

Hi all

A friend of mine is trying to do a write up of what's on around the UK for half term and I said I thought you might be able to help. My earlier post was greeted with resounding silence, so have resorted to the Help Help in the title PLUS a sticky.

Of course we should tell her to check the Local sites but not sure that all the listings on there are as up to date as they should be , so once you've posted here, please feel free to add your info to your local Mumsnet Local here

She's particularly looking for artsy stuff, local theater, ballet, activity days... but anything would be welcome.

Thanks

There's even one for babies on 25th at De Montfort Hall. "All adults must be accompanied by a suitable baby."

What do you do if you have an unsuitable baby I wonder?

The Lowry Shoping Centre are doing things with "The Simpsons" all week. I am very new to this site (as in today) and I am not really getting a lot of it. Can someone tell me what all the acronyms mean on here?? I know I sound old but what does DS mean? Ha ha I don't get it?

verylapsedrunner · 19/05/2009 22:09
