Being logged out

Somehow was just logged out and every time I log back in it only lasts a few screens before I'm logged out again . any ideas ?

Oh dear.

Them wot is in the Shed said this might be caused when they release their whizzy little fixes to various glitches.

But we don't think they've released any fixes this afternoon.

Is it still happening this evening?

Hello HelenMumsnet - in an attempt to be helpful - am still having problems.

Not sure what is happening with the Mac/Safari at the moment as my broadband was upgraded and currently have no internet at all on it...

On the pc with Firefox, I cannot log in from any page at all...though if I click "log in" it pulls up my name and password just fine. I can even see my name and password at the bottom of the screen, but the top of the screen tells me to log in.

I seem to be in the new Mumsnet format - I wasn't (I don't think) trying to use classic - I was using the "at work" version.

If/how you will get this post, I am not sure!

Is this still happening to anyone?

Sorry for late reply but have been away.

Latest update on being logged in (or not) is that clearly I can post. Yaaaay!

But I can't log in as such. The system clearly remembers my name and password (it comes up in the pop up box whenever I click on "log in") but whenever I "log in" I go back to a screen that tells me I am not yet logged in. The link you gave me doesn't sadly work as it tells me I need to be logged in and doesn't recognise that I am logging in like crazy!

At home everything is just fine (mac/safari).

Is there anything else I could or should be doing?

Have just deleted the mumsnet cookie from my pc and then tried logging in again.

Miraculously all is now well

well, we appear to have flooded our neighbours and they're not being very 'shit happens' about it to say the least but i can log in okay...

well, that's a relief, Aitch (not the flood obviously)
