Helloooo, tech? One of my threads has gone weird?

Bumperlicioso · 24/03/2009 20:09

The whole thread is only appearing in the right hand third of the screen and the add new post box is all squashed up beside it. It's only on one of my threads as far as I can work out, this one.

Hope you can help, thank you very much

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 20:14

Bumperlicioso · 24/03/2009 20:16

Hello daisy!

I feel like I've been away ages, a bit out of the loop, but just trying to curb my MN obsession a bit! Happy to decamp over here!

OP posts:
Tortoise · 24/03/2009 20:16

Seems to be doing the same in the lone parents section too.

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 20:19

hello tortoise

did you solve your day of boredom bumper? you need another baby; never a dull moment with two ankle biters around

Meglet · 24/03/2009 20:21

it's playing up on the Sept 08 post natal thread too.

Phoenix · 24/03/2009 20:22

Oh i just started a thread about this. I think it's all post-natal threads

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 20:23

maybe this is tech's way of getting all the cleeks to mingle a bit more

hi meglet

bratnav · 24/03/2009 20:23

Also on a lone parents thread that I posted on

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 20:24

and pheonix.....how are you doing?

Phoenix · 24/03/2009 20:25

Good thanks Daisy, how are you?

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 20:30

I'm all right Pheonix . busy with a smart and feisty toddler and a 20 week old milk monster. How long have you got to go now?

Phoenix · 24/03/2009 20:33

20wk old already

I'm 23+4 so just over half way

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 20:37

time flies, eh?

do you know what you're having.....other than a baby of course . And what does DS think about having a little brother or sister?

Bumperlicioso · 24/03/2009 20:39

It wasn't boredom as such daisy, it was frustration at being stuck doing toddler stuff.

We went to a farm park in the end, which was nice but a bit of a waste of money as we paid £15 for the three of us to get in a DD was terrified of all the animals. She is such a wet blanket! We had a massive queen bumble bee trapped in our living the other day and she leapt into my arms and sobbed!

DH and I almost considered trying for another baby so I can leave work as my job colleague is making me miserable. Decided it wasn't a good enough reason to try again yet! Next year...

Not 100% sure no. The sonographer couldn't get a decent view but he thinks he may have seen a penis but could only say 85% chance its a boy. We've picked Noah for a boy and ds knows so says Nona (he can't say Noah ) this and Nona that all the time. No one in RL (except trace2) knows its (could be) a boy so i'm glad ds can't say his name properly

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 20:46

noah is a lovely name pheonix
I must get down your way and meet up with you and Trace at some point

DD is the opposite bumper, and quite happily picks up (and eats ) slugs and she was trying to kiss the pigs and sheep at the farm park the other week. I think it's something to do with having an older brother

LackaDAISYcal · 24/03/2009 20:47

oh, and i've sent an email to the techs as they might not see this thread.

they don't go home at night do they????

Bumperlicioso · 24/03/2009 20:47

Awww, Noah was on my list if DD was a boy

Right, off to watch Desperate Housewives...

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 24/03/2009 20:48

I've got this problem too!

elkiedee · 24/03/2009 20:50

I have been having the same problem as op, with a couple of different postnatal threads.

nannynick · 24/03/2009 21:27

Looks to me as though the paged linked to is missing Class:advo_box (for the non-techies amongst you, that's the "Mumsnet members get a 10% discount" box, which you can see on the right of this page.

HelenMumsnet · 24/03/2009 22:06

Ooh, yikes, sorry everyone - this is all very er, right-wing, isn't it?

nannynick, I think you may be onto something with the missing discount box.

I'm not sure what we can do to fix this tonight (though I will try yelling at contacting the Techs) but we will certainly get onto it first thing.
