Please can you change the Topics page back.....

...to the way it was so you can see all of the topics straight away. I am getting very frustrated having to click repeatedly on the "show all" link everytime I return to it as most of the topics I'm interested in aren't on the initial view

Why on earth was this changed?

I think it would be better if it was customisable so you could choose to keep the drop downs open in the topics you want.

if you click on 'customise' and where it says 'Display all topics' select yes

Well I would too if it worked for me - I've gone to customise and clicked on the correct option, saved it but it then reverts back to the 'no' option and it looks just the same. I logged out and logged back in and no difference. What am I doing wrong ?

Same here, I've tried it about 10 times and it won't stay on 'yes'.

It did that for me too the first time - I went back, changed to Yes & then refreshed the page (I did View-Reload in Firefox) and then saved the changes - this time it worked.

Everytime I refresh the page it goes back to NO. Everytime I press save it goes back to NO. Doesn't matter what order I do anything it always goes back to NO.

Well it's working now but I had to do it in Firefox too - which I don't even use normally.

Pixel - looks like its just you and me then . I don't have Firefox (and don't know what it is either so that probably doesn't help!). Mind you I did have trouble with the 'read down like a page' option too and that seemed to fix itself without my trying so I'll have a fiddle about tomorrow after switching off and starting again.

Pixel - try Shift+f5 for your refresh & try using the Save Changes button underneath the Yes/No box, rather than the Save one on the right.

Are you on Windows or a Mac?

I'm on windows and I have tried it with different save buttons. Just tried the shift+F5, still nothing.

Thanks Rusty, but I will just give up on it. I've spent enough time fiddling around trying to compensate for all the 'improvements'.

Many thanks memoo that seems to have worked.

It's still worse than it was because the page is longer due to the repeated topics and the text is too small...but I guess it wasn't designed to be perfect

doesn't save the changes for me in MN New. If I change back to classic, make and save changes, then change back to New it works.

Aha - just done as ChasingSquirrels suggested and it has now worked, but not before cocking up the read page like a book/newest message first option I had problems with before. I've sorted all of it out now and despite being very disappointed with the 'new look' the first day, I'm now converted!
