Or so I read on the Toddlers: The Mumsnet Guide book jacket.

High praise indeed

lol they're better looking though

BabyStarlightsMum · 15/01/2009 18:55

Depends whether you think Trinny and Susannah are more use than a wet sock.

LittleBella · 15/01/2009 18:57

God, what an insult

Carrie and Justine, sue.

MaryAnnSingleton · 15/01/2009 18:58

I bloody hate Trinny and Susannah - I'd be insulted,me

fryalot · 15/01/2009 18:58

oh god, does this mean I have to mumsnet whilst showing my arse to half of Britain?

TigerFeet · 15/01/2009 18:59

I hope they leave my norks alone...

slayerette · 15/01/2009 19:00

How depressing. I'm off to find a site where the founders are described as the Gok Wan of parenting - now there's a compliment to be proud of. In fact, isn't being described as the Trinny and Susannah of parenting more of an insult??

Hassled · 15/01/2009 19:06

I'm sure it could have been worse but I'm struggling to see how. Possibly the Waldorf and Statler of parenting?

OP posts:
morningpaper · 15/01/2009 19:07

at waldorf adn statler

morningpaper · 15/01/2009 19:36

how come you have a secret copy of the book?

is it any good?

(nb you should say yes)

nickytwotimes · 15/01/2009 19:37

I'd be bloody fuming.
Trinny and Susannah indeed.

Hassled · 15/01/2009 19:40

This link was on the parenting news roundup email thingy.

Oi, mp, you should complain about that credit!

AugustusGloop · 15/01/2009 19:43

DO they stand naked with boobs touching ALL THE TIME?

beansontoast · 15/01/2009 19:44

just tell me it is not actually true.

morningpaper · 15/01/2009 19:46

ah don't worry they are terribly nice about me on the inside

They are like Trinny and Susannah, except they are both skinny bints

They have never touched my bosoms, but are relationship is in its early stages

VersdeSociete · 15/01/2009 19:47

Credit, woman, you need credit!

Hassled · 15/01/2009 19:47

MP, are you "Mumsnet.com"? Couldn't you have been MP at least?

To clarify, by "or so I read on the Toddlers book jacket", what I actually meant was "or so I read on the link that showed the book jacket comments". So no, I haven't actually handled the mighty tome myself but have no doubt whatsoever that it is very very good .

OP posts:
fryalot · 15/01/2009 19:48

"are" relationship, MP?

morningpaper · 15/01/2009 19:48

honestly, my name is ALL OVER it

it's positively embarassing

I even think I am going to have to admit the whole thing to my mother

morningpaper · 15/01/2009 19:49

ARE you see, this is why THEIR names are on it, they had to decipher my incoherent scribble

fryalot · 15/01/2009 19:50

hee hee.

For a small fee, I will proof-read the next books for you

Mercy · 15/01/2009 19:55

Do you mean you've already got a copy MP? How come?

morningpaper · 15/01/2009 19:57

someone sold it to me round the back of a pub in Yeovil

VersdeSociete · 15/01/2009 19:58

You say some very rude stuff in my book, mp....
There were lots of knockoff copies of YOUR book down Bethnal Green Road Market under Chinese women's jumpers...
