How about a mumsnet pin badge?

I'm always wondering if the other mums I come into contact with are mumsnetters too.

I think it would be great if we had a little pin badge we could buy to wear, something discrete, only other mumsnetters would know what it meant

Macdog · 15/01/2009 19:47

The profits from that site go to Foundation for the Study of Infant Death (FSID)

HelenBurns · 15/01/2009 19:48

SM you are sounding worried!!!

Tinker · 15/01/2009 19:48

Enid didn't invent fanjo. May have been first to use it on mn but didn't invent it.

HelenBurns · 15/01/2009 19:48

Can I get one saying I licked Cod's arse one time?

ScottishMummy · 15/01/2009 19:49

well one can support a worthy cause without wearing minging clothes

HelenBurns · 15/01/2009 19:49

No she was just first to use it on here, that's what I meant. Gawd knows who invented it. Is it in the etymological dictionary?

ScottishMummy · 15/01/2009 19:51

you want a badge for sycophancy? put a post it note saying "i am a MN brown nose" on your head

Tinker · 15/01/2009 19:51

Think it's in that Urban Dictionary thing.

siriusmew · 15/01/2009 19:51

This has baffled me for ages. Who is Cod?

ScottishMummy · 15/01/2009 19:53

There is life our with MN.fanjo is a colloqualism

MadamAnt · 15/01/2009 19:55

SM - why are you so snippy?

ScottishMummy · 15/01/2009 19:59

what i dont whoopsie doo about a mn badge?and recommend post it note following HB proclamation she licked someone arse.just thought maybe a badge too subtle, but post it note has panache, non

MadamAnt · 15/01/2009 20:07

I couldn't give a shit one way or the other about MN merchandise, but I don't feel they need to come on to a thread to be snidey towards those who would like to wear a badge. And it's not just this thread. Your posts often come across as very negative.

ScottishMummy · 15/01/2009 20:11

seems it is you who is getting humphy and sweary, not i.and i will contribute as i wish or do you suggest we all only join threads to be affirmative and gushy

that is thing about discussion.folk discuss

you can like it or lump it but lame to squawk dont disagree with topic

AugustusGloop · 15/01/2009 20:13

Does no one ever think that maybe in the zillions of years that MN has been around. that this has already been suggested?

MadamAnt · 15/01/2009 20:13

I'm not humphy at all. Just curious as to why you feel the need to be so disagreeable most of the time.

AugustusGloop · 15/01/2009 20:14

04 when even the poster there was told it had already been discussed, then there is the whole cafe press MN shop

ScottishMummy · 15/01/2009 20:16

hokey cokey so you recall my threads, and cast aspersions.funny cant recall any of your posts

you need to depersonalise and understand you dislike the post not the poster, how can you as you don't know me

Jacksmama · 15/01/2009 20:19

could i ask what a lentil weaver is?
[very new mumsnetter emoticon]
