So no one appeared to care when I brought it up before, but am I the only one who has problems with the fact that the mumsnet search is sponsored by yahoo?

The site search is "powered by" Yahoo, rather than sponsored, as you noted. MN doesn't get (or give) any money for it.

Not sure what you mean by "presumably the other search functions are too"?
