You have this lovely text box at the top of this page saying:

"Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at MNHQ (in between ROFL at your witty posts)? Find out in the latest News from the Towers, our very own blog on the week's events."

The week's events....so why was your last entry on July 18th??

Have you spent all summer pissed or summat?

OP posts:
GeraldineMumsnet · 05/09/2008 12:16

Definitely summat New MNHQ blog hot off the keyboard is there now.

Uranus · 06/09/2008 09:48

Why thankyou Geraldine. I suppose the rain yesterday meant Mumsnet Towers champagne quaffing in the sun had to be abandoned so you could write the blog?

But....where has the box at the top of the page linking to the blog gone??

GeraldineMumsnet · 06/09/2008 14:33

I think it probably got whipped off to save us more blushes. I'll sort it on Monday, honest.

YetMoreTech · 06/09/2008 15:51

"But....where has the box at the top of the page linking to the blog gone??"

Which box do you mean? "Blog" is and always has been in the menu bar at the top, between "Local" and "Discounts".

SaintGeorge · 06/09/2008 15:53

There was a direct link to the MNHQ blog, now there isn't

YetMoreTech · 06/09/2008 15:56

"There was a direct link to the MNHQ blog"

Where?

BecauseImWorthIt · 06/09/2008 15:58

I think it was a message box that used to appear at the top of some pages

Wezzle · 06/09/2008 15:58

It's at the top of another thread I'm on

but not this one

BecauseImWorthIt · 06/09/2008 15:59

This message:

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at MNHQ (in between ROFL at your witty posts)? Find out in the latest News from the Towers, our very own blog on the week's events.

It appears at the top of chat threads, with a link to the blog

YetMoreTech · 06/09/2008 16:02

Ah, do you mean the box beneath the line that begins "Useful stuff" and above the line that begins "Mumsnet Discussions"?

If so, that is a random(ish) rotating message, depending on the topic that you're viewing and some other factors. One of those messages is a link to the blog. However, you can always get to it by clicking Blog on the top menu bar and the clicking the link to MumsnetTowers.

GeraldineMumsnet · 06/09/2008 16:03

I'm impressed. It was indeed. It can be revived now we've actually got round to blogging.

GeraldineMumsnet · 06/09/2008 16:06

Oops, my post was in response to BecauseImWorthit but YetMoreTech snuck in. I'm going back to quaffing now.

SaintGeorge · 06/09/2008 16:07

Ah, I knew I had seen it somewhere.

Thanks for the link YetMoreTech but out of interest, where on the blog page can you find the link to Mumsnet Towers?

I looked there and couldn't see it

BecauseImWorthIt · 06/09/2008 16:09

Pass me a glass of fizz, Geraldine!

SaintGeorge · 06/09/2008 16:09

OK, scrap that.

For some reason my CTRL F search didn't find it the first time, but it has now

BecauseImWorthIt · 06/09/2008 16:10

Never mind that, StG - pull up a chair - Geraldine has opened a bottle!

SaintGeorge · 06/09/2008 16:16

Ooh good.

I've brought my own glass

BecauseImWorthIt · 06/09/2008 16:19

Down in one, down in one, down in one ...

Wezzle · 06/09/2008 16:22

Did somebody mention champagne?

may i join you?

I did know what blog link you were talking about after all...

and tis my birthday......

BecauseImWorthIt · 06/09/2008 16:23

Happy Birthday!

Looks like MNHQ will have to open another one now, because StG has necked the first one.

SaintGeorge · 06/09/2008 16:27

Sorry

SaintGeorge · 06/09/2008 16:27

Happy Birthday Wezzle.

GeraldineMumsnet · 06/09/2008 16:28

BecauseImWorthIt · 06/09/2008 16:29

SaintGeorge · 06/09/2008 16:34
