@Ritasueandbobtoo9 It's called a "Native" ad, so basically a partner will create a template and serve multiple advertisers through the same template. All advertiser needs to do is provide click through URL, an image and voila it serves across multiple publishers in a neat format.... However...
What's happened here is they have setup a campaign that serves a larger creative size within a unit that is not big enough.
Our signals = give me maximum 300x100
Their response = Of course here is an ad for that size.
The template (THE ISSUE) served is not in fact 300x100!
Now the 2 hour update I promised, we've discovered two issues:
- The 3rd party that monitors all ads, which helps us search, find and block ads: Is not picking these up as we expected and changes will be made this afternoon to lower risk of these coming through in future.
- We were tracking the wrong ad partner who was providing these templates and we have since "unmapped" them to this specific unit. Hoping this will help...!
Typically this is not something that usually goes this long without getting fixed/or blocked. This was a perfect storm of not being picked up by our monitoring partner [Which we are fixing], our in ability to replicate our end and getting distracted by the wrong ad partner.
Can only apologise again to everyone, once again, I ask that you keep an eye.
I don't need screenshots but if they come back, the landing page URL is great also...!
