Anyone else getting an error message on the Notifications page?

I've been getting an error message for the past couple of hours when I try to access the Notifications page. Wondering if others have had this. Contacted MN but no response so far.

Anyone else getting an error message on the Notifications page?

Yes I've been getting exactly the same message for a few hours when I use MN on my Samsung Internet browser- which is the one I normally use. I' ve tried deleting the cookies for the website and I've restarted my phone but it hasn't made any difference.

However I tried going to the website using Chrome I could access the Notifications Ok.

It's very annoying.

ImpressionOf · 23/04/2026 18:45

Yes, me too. I came here to say the same. I use Chrome.

LilyMumsnet · 23/04/2026 18:53

Hi all

Sorry you're getting this error, and thanks for trying that @Alwaysthesameoldstory.

We're looking into this now and will come back to the thread when we have some answers.

Twiglets1 · 23/04/2026 19:25

I've got the same thing - thought it was just me.

ImpressionOf · 23/04/2026 20:49

Lots of ‘buttons’ to areas not working - seems issues across the site. I am giving up tonight as I can’t see what I’ve posted on or if there has been any contributions from anyone else.

Hi all

Can you please try clearing your cache? There was an issue with browser cache earlier so it's very likely that the issue will be resolved once this has been done.

Thanks - that has worked for me on my mobile at least.

Yeah, I did this on MacBook this afternoon. Hasn't worked.
Talk about passing the buck.

JustCabbaggeLooking · 23/04/2026 23:44

'Can you please try clearing your cache'??!
C'mon. Be professional.

JustCabbaggeLooking · 23/04/2026 23:51

And it still isn't working. 11.51pm

JustCabbaggeLooking · 24/04/2026 00:04

"I'm on" is working 'I'm watching" is not.

ImpressionOf · 24/04/2026 09:55

Cleared as suggested, notification page still not accessible.

Curveygirl · 24/04/2026 10:18

Hi, my notifications are leading to tgis message too. I've tried allthe obvious things and still get the error. My active feed is like this also. Samsung.

Pemba · 24/04/2026 10:21

'I'm watching' is still not working 😕. That was my go to page.

murasaki · 24/04/2026 10:35

I've cleared mine and it's still not working.

Rictasmorticia · 24/04/2026 10:38

I have been getting this for two days trying to access last hour

DustyWindowsills · 24/04/2026 11:14

I cleared my cache. Still getting the error message.

ImpressionOf · 24/04/2026 11:41

I also feel quite strongly that I shouldn’t be the one to have to clear my history (cache) losing things I want to keep - just to make MN work.

murasaki · 24/04/2026 11:52

I think i saw on another thread that they'd had to do something re security and this had been a 'human error' based side effect. And to clear the cache as a solution.

Which it isn't.

PrettyDamnCosmic · 24/04/2026 12:11

I had been getting this error on Notifications when using Chrome on my MacBook for the last 24 hours. I came here to report the issue & saw the recommendation to clear cache (Chrome->Delete browsing data) which has fixed the problem. Thanks!

Alwaysthesameoldstory · 24/04/2026 21:04

@LilyMumsnet
Cleared my cache and that's worked for me.
Thanks very much.

Hi all

Can you please try clearing your cache? There was an issue with browser cache earlier so it's very likely that the issue will be resolved once this has been done.

My problem is that I can't load the page www.mumsnet.com/talk/womens_rights
When I try to load that page the URL in the browser's address bar changes to this one https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/%7B1%7D and the oops error message page is displayed in the browser window.

This has been happening since around 3pm yesterday.

I tried clearing my browser cache and it made no difference. The only way I can access the page is by using a private browsing window.

Hope you find this information helpful in tracking down the issue.

CraftySeal · 25/04/2026 08:28

I'm getting the 404 on the AIBU forum listing (not any of the other pages mentioned), and have been for days now. Clearing browsing data and cache has not worked.

DustyWindowsills · 25/04/2026 08:48

DustyWindowsills · 24/04/2026 11:14

I cleared my cache. Still getting the error message.

To clarify (in case it's helpful), I get the error message when I try to access Notifications. The My activity feature works fine. I'm using Android.

BillieWiper · 25/04/2026 13:13

It's still doing it on notification and active (android/chrome) and it's driving me mad. Stop telling us to clear cache and fix it properly please. It makes it unusable!
