Can no longer edit posts within five minutes of posting, is this a Premium-only feature again?

I’ve lost the ability to edit a thread 5 minutes within posting it. Is it just me? Or is this now a Premium feature again?

I had the exact same issue.

I had posted and then there were a few posts after mine, which I read.

When I scrolled up again, I noticed I had made a spelling error on my post, so wanted to edit it.

Nope. The edit function was gone and is was less than 5 minutes I'm sure.

I even tried another device, but the option was gone.

What I can't do any more is see another posters early version after they've edited. Which is sometimes very important.

I can’t see the editing history any more either, and if I press the ‘edited’ button to try to see then it makes the whole page freeze

Morning everyone. We're looking into this now. In the meantime, we'd be really grateful if anyone could send us screenshots or videos of this issue 'in action' just so we can see exactly what's happening.

Me too. I assumed it would be put down to using a browser that MNHQ don’t approve of, like the Private Messaging icon disappearing.

Hi @nomas - glad to hear that everything's working okay for you now.

@Saucery - it's not that we don't approve of certain browsers, but it's possible that some browsers' privacy settings may interfere with key functionality and unfortunately that's not something we can fix at our end.

Apologies, I spoke too soon. Editing works on iPhone but not on iPad. I'm on the latest iOS update on both.
