What is going on with the site tonight

I and a couple of others are having trouble posting.we can write post ok then its taking ages to actually go.Anyone else having this problem ?

Usually the slowness is caused by the ads, as you know.

The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed a pattern to the other reason for the slow down. And the good news is, we're on it...
