@mumsnetyou have forced me onto the app because of the total inability of the site to run in safari, please for the love of god take me off infinite scroll and come up with a way that when clicking to a thread from “threads I’m on” I return to last seen post as on the website not some random point three days back.

We'll add you to the list to be removed from Infinite Scroll so that should be sorted for you soon. With regards to the 'threads I'm on' issue, we're working on this as we speak and hope to have a solution soon.

Does Infinite Scroll mean no page numbers on threads?

I haven't any page numbers on mine and it is a real pain. I wanted to read the Traitors Thread but just wanted to read the last couple of pages. There was no way to do this, so I just didn't bother as I think there were a 1000 posts on it!

If so, @HebeMumsnet can I be taken off this scheme.

Me too @mumsnet. I had pages up until Thursday night and now the posts just go on and on. What’s going on, have I pressed a button unknowingly?

Hi again @SliceofTosst and @persikmeow . We've just checked and you have both definitely been removed from infinite scroll. Are you definitely on long threads (ie that would show pages) and you're both on the main site, not the app? The other thing to check is that you have your settings set to 50 posts per page or similar and not 'all'.

If you've checked all those could you possibly send us a screenshot or maybe screen video of what you're seeing on long threads so we can have a better look? Thank you!

Also just for my own curiosity - who is this feature meant to benefit? I don’t know anyone who actually likes it… especially when the page refreshes unexpectedly and throws you right back to the top!

can I get pagination too please? As others said, the ability to jump through to where you last were eg a traitors thread, is really useful.

Could you tell me where to check this? I am just seeing the endless single page within threads as well as on the start page. Couldn’t see anything like this in settings either.

I’m on my phone if it matters.

If you go to your settings, then Talk settings, you can scroll down to Thread Posts and then where it says 'on threads show messages per page' just make sure it's toggled to 50 or 100 and not to 'all'.
