I started a thread that got to 1000 posts in a couple of days.
It was about politics.

i think the most interesting threads are where people surrender something of themselves

and the ones where people are very funny

and mb has started some interesting ones

i dont think its the longest threads but the ones where people are really talking to each other so it becomes the kind of conversation you would hope tio have if you met them in person

FrannyandZucchini · 04/06/2008 18:36

I just did something very silly and embarrassing

my best ones tend to be along those lines

zippitippitoes · 04/06/2008 18:37

i dont think i have ever had a "successful" thread particualrly

maidamess · 04/06/2008 18:44

I started a 'celebs in mundane situations' thread that ran and ran!

"...A genuiune success.." Andrew Lloyd Webber

"..This one could run and run..." Russell Grant

"I'm a size , I have £ to spend. What should I buy?"

expatinscotland · 04/06/2008 18:49
  1. MN sucks and posters on it are bitches/bullies/vipers/schoolyard girls/etc.

Threads where someone can come in and ?

Threads where OP asks AIBU and everyone says "Er yes actually" and the OP comes back sheepishly and realises error of ways.

THreads with amusing name-changes. The MN nativity play springs to mind and those history ones make me LOL.

"Come here and give Cod your hugs and sloppy kisses 'cos she loves it"

Hmm - I'm tempted to post this, but I can see she's started to come out in hives at the mere thought of it.

Also;

Should I call my baby vagina if it's a girl or dickhead if it's a boy?
