Just as the title says. Also drains the battery quickly. We've had this in the past, I think. I've got an iPhone 14 Plus, iOS 18.6.2 & latest version of the app.

Morning. We’ve just released a new version of the Mumsnet iOS app.
This update includes a fix for the recent overheating and battery drain issues that some of you have been experiencing.
We’ve also made it easier to post in your favourite boards - any topics you follow will now appear right at the top of the list when you’re choosing where to post or when using advanced search.
The update is rolling out now, so you should see it on your device soon (you can also head to the App store and check to see if the update is available there).
Thanks so much for your patience while we’ve been working on this – and as always, do let us know how you get on once you’ve updated.
