Hiding threads not working

Dear MNHQ

I cannot hide threads today. It is driving me insane. Please help.

Hi @Shenmen, thanks for flagging this. You should have the option to toggle on the setting 'hide threads from active' in your Talk settings here: https://www.mumsnet.com/settings/talk

Please let us know if this is not the case so that we can look into this for you.

Hi @Shenmen Thanks for checking this.

If you have the setting toggled on in your Talk settings, when you're on the Active Conversations page (https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/active), you should see a 'Hide thread' option on desktop, or a meatball menu (three dots) on mobile that includes 'Watch' and 'Hide'. Just to note - this feature only applies to the Active page and not other Talk topic pages. To help us investigate further, could you let us know:

  • What device and browser you're using (e.g. iPhone 15 with Chrome browser)?
  • Could you also share a screenshot of what you're seeing on the Active page?

This will help us get to the bottom of it more quickly.
