Active constantly refreshing

Why is Active auto refreshing all of a sudden? It's really annoying! I took a screenshot then opened a thread, went back and all new threads (screenshots attached). I see something I want to read but when I go back it's gone.

This is so frustrating please do something about it

Glad it’s fixed for some but not for me.

It was OK for a few hours but has reverted back again. Very annoying
