As in the title, will someone please confirm that this matter has been reported to the Police.
There is an obligation to report CSA.

Thank you for the reply, there are so many threads about this, I hadn't seen the one with confirmation, nor have I received an email.

Hello - yes, we reported to the police this morning.

Hello - yes, we reported to the police this morning.

And why can I still add images?! I’m not talking about a permanent image ban with this question, I’m saying right now, when absolutely nothing has been done to stop this happening again, why can I still post pictures? Why has there not been emergency action taken?

wrongthinker · 03/02/2025 10:32

Surely it should have been reported last night - immediately that MN's night watch had their attention drawn to it?

NW moderators clearly have had no proper training in what to do in this eventuality. Waiting for morning to report to MNHQ was not the right course of action here. Not their fault - they should have been properly trained (and paid) to deal with this.

Really, though, it should never have been allowed to happen in the first place. There should have been pre-moderation of photos and links. The whole situation is utterly horrible. Those poor kids. And everyone who saw the images. Just awful.

Hello - yes, we reported to the police this morning.

To be honest that feels a bit late. I don't know why it wasn't done last night. Surely the night watch volunteers can contact one of the paid employees and/or MN owners in an emergency, out of hours?

Afternoon, everyone.
Understandably we have a lot of threads in Site Stuff about what happened in the early hours of this morning. In order to update you all about next steps as quickly as possible, we're going to close this thread and others to new posts for now and will post any updates on this thread so we can keep all the answers to questions and info on what's happening together.
We'll be back with any updates as soon as we can.
