What's the point in deleting a post with a discount code if the title of the post alongside the code remains and is showing in active threads?

If we want mumsnet not to be spammed with threads then surely the whole thing needs removing?

Thanks for raising this.

When we delete a thread we (usually!) make sure it's removed from the active list, but it sounds like the odd one or two may have slipped through the net. If you can drop us a line at contactus@mumsnet.com and let us know the title of the thread in question, we'll make sure it's excluded

Hi there @InkHeart2024 . The board is really there to prevent the threads taking over other boards. One thread simply wasn't enough so we were ending up with several discount code threads on the larger boards and finding they were pushing other threads out of the picture a bit. So hopefully now they're all in one place anyone who isn't interested can ignore them.
