Bookmarks not working properly?

As recommended by Mumsnet a while ago I now open all threads I am interested in in a new tab but when I do my bookmarks don't seem to work. It's only after I realise that I have read some of the comments before that I find I have to reload the page for the bookmark to take effect.

Hello @CarlaH we're aware of an issue with bookmarking for some MNers and we're working on a fix for this. We're sorry for the annoyance in the meantime.

Some users have found clearing their cache solves the problem so you may wish to give that a go. Please also let us know your browser/device as this helps us to replicate the issue.
