Can we have a section for USA elections

Today there are 7 threads on page 1 of AIBU about Trump/US elections and about the same number on page 1 of Chat. Can they be put in one place please? It's the same discussions over and over again, just clogging things up.

Hi there @CandidaAlbicans2. Given that it's probably almost all over now, we don't think a new section is really warranted. We are keeping an eye on things though and if the election results threads are threatening to take over we'll have a rethink. It might be that some can go to politics, in the news or elsewhere. For the moment, though, it's such a huge story we don't feel we can ask people not to discuss it on the main boards. You can always 'hide' the threads individually, too, of course.

Don't worry though - we will keep a watch on what's going on with those threads.
