Weight loss injections topic - discount codes

Hi MNHQ

The weight loss injections topic is great and really useful but it is drowning in posts about discount codes for a couple of subscription services.

This is making it incredibly difficult to see actual useful posts, because they are everywhere on all types of threads. It's getting really spammy.

Is there any chance we could have a sticky thread for discount codes then get any posts sharing discount codes on other threads deleted?

Hi @WorriedRelative thanks for raising this. We do understand your concerns about this topic. In general, if someone's a genuine/long-term member of the site we've been okay with them posting the odd promo code. But if we can see that someone's just joined the site to spam us with codes, we'll delete their threads and posts and suspend their account.

We're going to take a good look through the topic to see if anything needs to be zapped, and will have a think about your idea for separating out the discount codes. In the meantime, please report any posts or threads that you're concerned about so we can take a closer look.
