My understanding was that it was against guidelines, but blatant and admitted sockpuppetry, which has actually caused distress to other posters, has been happening with no intervention, across multiple threads. Is this considered ok now?

Hi all,
Sockpuppeting is against talk guidelines and if we find it on a thread, we can assure you it will be dealt with.
Something we do is email posters off the boards to resolve something - it depends on someone's intentions. That won't necessarily be obvious on the boards when you're reading a thread.
If you think we've missed something, please report it to us and we can take another look or let you know how we dealt with it.
