New view thing in sub forums - pictures issue

now there is the new sub forum view, not sure of the correct term, but now it shows a wee snippet of the post. I do very much like this but the issue is the pictures are also viewable on the sub forum page. So, while a poster may write in the title picture warning or similar, you can see the picture in the sub forums that use this new view. And some pictures are not very lovely to see when you are scrolling. It’s good when people spoiler the picture but some don’t (whether they don’t realise you can, or that they don’t realise you can see the picture outwith the thread).

im not sure if you can do anything about this, but thought I would point it out.

thank you.

also apologies if this has been posted before, I couldn’t see that it had, but I may have missed it.

@123dogdog

First of all, we're really glad to hear you like the new OP view Smile

Can you please let us know which topics you're seeing these images in so we can check things out? Mumsnetters are able to add a sensitive image filter to any pics they add to a thread, but not everyone knows to do this so if you see any posts which you think could benefit from a filter, please report them to us so we can add one.

Once the filter's in place, sensitive images won't show up in OP view - the image will be safely blurred.

We completely understand and we're glad you raised this. It might be worth switching back to compact view just for the health topic? And of course please report any images that you think could do with a filter Smile
