Is there a point at which MN can intervene or approach a poster directly?

I've seen a few situations where the same poster comes back, time and time again, usually with multiple name changes and over a period of a few weeks or months, and is very clearly in a controlling or abusive relationship. often, the individual thing they post about each time is relatively minor, but a red flag, and then it becomes clear that there are 10 (or 100 or 1000) of these.

@MNHQ is there a point at which you see that these threads are all from the same account and gently email these posters to direct them to Women's Aid or similar? is that even possible? Or appropriate?

I find of all the threads on MN, these are the ones that get me the most. The drip drip of a woman who is just being slowly stripped away. There was one a few years ago who almost got away, but bottled it at the last minute and I find myself genuinely still worried about her all these years later.
