Type size decreased at some point today?

I know it's changed because until this afternoon, edited posts appeared in slightly smaller typeface. Now, all posts are the same size typeface even if showing as edited!

Why? It's too small for my aging eyes 👀

(Mobile site, up to date S10, latest version of chrome)

My browser is ok but I'd like the option to change the font size within the app. It can feel too small.

Does it need this much white space, for example?

Ok so since this morning at about 7am it's returned to the size it always used to be, with just edited posts in smaller type...

And now it's decreased again so all posts are in the tiny font...

Hi again, everyone. Thank you so much for all the information, screen grabs, videos etc you've sent in. They have helped us get to the bottom of this. It's not brilliant news though unfortunately. Having looked carefully at it all and validated everything on our side, it looks like this is a problem on Google's side, so there isn't much we can do about it at our end.

What does that mean? I don't get how Google is changing the size of the type on MN posts after they're edited? Or why it went back to normal for 12 hours a few days ago then went back to tiny?

And this morning it's back to normal size, except for edited posts which are still smaller.

How is this related to google? Should I try a different browser?

Good Lord. Is it really worth this much mithering? MNHQ have said there's nothing they can do.
