Out of date covid advice on mn re face mask wearing?

Hi hq, this article says updated yesterday on 2nd Jan 2024, but it must be out of date? Saying gov current advice is to make children wear face masks? Surely that's going to cause some anxiety for some?

I saw that as well. The “updated” article links to some government guidance that was withdrawn in 2021 (I think that’s the date - definitely been withdrawn, though)

I know I initially read in the wee hours of 3am while bf, then thought I'd imagined it, then saw again!
