Help - need your quick thoughts on why being a parenting is better now than it was 20 years ago.... Please!

Good point Carmenere. Many more women are proving that it is possible (medically at least) to start having children in their late 30s plus withuut being regarded as a freak. Same goes for assisted pregnancy - it's more accepted now (and more widely available)

it's in response to Jack Straw saying life's much better than it was in general (not just for parents)
