I know this has been requested many times.
And surely music is relevant to all of us, unlike a fair few topics on here.

zippitippitoes · 29/03/2008 23:24

i dont understand the locig i mean housekeeping or music

zippitippitoes · 29/03/2008 23:25

skiing or music

i think more people listen to music than ski

zippitippitoes · 29/03/2008 23:27

in fact ditch gransnet as no one posts there for obvious reasons and have a music topic instead

2shoes · 29/03/2008 23:27

using culture vultures just feels so odd.
how can you talk about metal, rap and R&B alongside people talking about art and piano lessons(no offence) just seems wrong.

LyraSilvertongue · 30/03/2008 23:38

Yes, why is there room for a chickens topic but not music. Very, very wrong.

marina · 30/03/2008 23:40

Make Culture Vultures yours then 2shoes

Music is culture, popular or high

I don't see why you shouldn't chat about rap, metal etc there, in the absence of a dedicated topic

zippitippitoes · 31/03/2008 10:17

of course there is no real need for any topioc they could all be other subjects

Reminds me a bit of School Charities Week when the Head would ask for ideas. EVERY year without fail the Non Uniform Day was mooted - it would have been a guaranteed money-spinner, as after all who wants to come to school in uniform on non-uniform day? - and EVERY year without fail it was knocked on the head immediately.

(Can we have a Gooseberry Growers section?

Or one for Lego Collectors?)
