Are there measures to check if mumsnet back end has been compromised by cyberattacks or phishing?

Sometimes there seems to be suspect moderating decisions, eg deletions and so on, which happen simultaneously with someone, or even a few usernames, which appear to be working together, apparently goading and trolling on a thread. There will also be no messages from a named MN member of staff on the thread itself.

Does Mumsnet have a way to audit moderator activity to check that deletions, etc have been made by genuine members of staff and are not the work of hackers?

Thanks.

Morning @Insideacatsear. We would be definitely aware if there had been an attack on the site, don't worry.

We don't like to say too much about what we have in place for obvious reasons, but this isn't a scenario we would be concerned about happening, and as a previous poster says, in the unlikely event someone did manage to hack in, there wouldn't be much benefit for them in deleting posts.

We're always happy to have a look if you're concerned about a deletion, though, so do just drop us a line.
