are you adding paypal as a method of payment for the cat registration please , i want to sign up for it and dont have a card thanks debbie

Hi, we can't take paypal without doing quite a bit of development work (as the CAT system has been around since before we took paypal for anything at all). Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to do that at the moment.

You can pay with any debit card you want hardnock, you just have to be logged in as yourself. So if you want to use your DH's then go ahead.
To be honest, I'm really surprised that a number of people don't have debit cards and cheque books. How would you ever get money out of the bank? How do you manage to get your paypal money out of paypal if you don't have a bank account?

Hi Magnolia,
You'd need to take that up with your bank. We don't get any information from them other than "accepted" or "declined". The payments are taken by worldpay - which is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland.
The usual reasons things get declined (if you have money there) are that you've entered the wrong security code or the wrong billing address. Your bank or card issuer should be able to give you the precise reason. Tell them you were making a payment to "Worldpay"
