Oops! an error occured

I keep getting this error message when I try to open a thread called "What's the most bonkers thread you've read on here?". Everything else is fine except this one thread. It says:

Oops! an error occurred
The server returned a "405 Method Not Allowed".
Something is broken. Please let us know what you were doing when this error occurred. We will fix it as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Any ideas? I've tried to open it three times now, and the third time I refreshed the screen and it opened. But there must be some issue somewhere, and since it says to let you know - well here we are.

I'm using a laptop and Chrome.

I'm getting this but on a PM from someone. I get this error and an internal server 500 error too. Just suddenly started last night. Very annoying.

I'm getting a black screen after reading two or three threads.

I'm getting this now and then on my ancient laptop. Disappears upon clicking. Weird thing to just show up randomly.

Inspect element shows div id="livewire-error" as the culprit.

I too am getting a big black block in the middle of the screen. It seems to say ‘error’ of some kind.

@MNHQ - any ideas please? It's happened several times to me on other threads, and again just now when I was replying on one. Huge dark box almost completely covering the screen.

Just happened to me when i tried to post on the Covid Enquiry thread

Happened to me earlier on my laptop on various threads. I was cursing the laptop! It is now also happening on my phone. I will apologise to the laptop later 😳

Just typed out the word test and successfully posted it on the Covid enquiry thread but a longer proper post.............nope

Curiouser and curiouser The ones who seem to have no trouble posting on the Covid enquiry thread are the pro lockdowners. Im still getting the black screen after several attempts.

Morning, everyone. Thanks for all the reports on this. We'll start looking into it but in the mean time, if anyone else who has had this crop up could send us a screengrab and url to the page they were on when the error message came up (as well as the usual details on device and browser) that would be very helpful. Same here it doesn't seem to be restricted to one thread or any particular browser / device.

just tap on it if you want to see the photo or scroll past if you don't. It can be anything, but most of them are just what the thread is about, someone's manly toe nail or kids vomited up

I'm getting the same black screen as others. Happens randomly when I try to open a trending thread. It happened earlier on the baby shower nightmare thread, but that's now working fine.

I’ve been getting it too. iPhone on safari. Had it on chrome on laptop too. Very annoying
