Zombie threads

There's quite a few zombie threads popped up in the last day or so, including ones of my own under a different username. This seems to happen every now and again-what's going on?

Hi there @AutisticLegoLover. Thanks for getting in touch. As far as we know there should be no reason for this to happen more often than usual.

Occasionally we get trolls reanimating old threads which causes a small flurry, and if a subject matter suddenly becomes topical again you might have people searching for threads on the topic and that could cause it, but otherwise it's probably just coincidence.

How old are the threads you mention? We have, in the last few month, started including 'threads you might like' at the bottom of some threads but they would be fairly recent rather than ancient history. Could it be that perhaps?
