Speed issues - again?

Is it just me, or is the site taking ages to load, especially where there are more than about 200 posts?
I'm constantly getting the "Wait or delete page" notifications or just "Reload page" and it's become well nigh impossible to add anything to busy threads

Hello @Puzzledandpissedoff can we ask you to check your internet speed, please? If you Google 'internet speed test' it should be the first thing you see. We're just trying to rule out possible causes. Thank you.

Afternoon, everyone. We're still working on this issue but in the meantime, if you could reset your 'posts per page' to 100 or fewer that will help it run more smoothly. Lots of users are having this issue when posts are set to 'view 1000 per page.'
