The last week there have been a couple of threads where ASD/ADHD have been at the core of the threads, and the commentary from posters who haven't got a fucking clue about what its like living with kids with these issues is soul destroying.

Is there any way MNHQ can come up something to combat some of this ignorance and minimise the horrendously discriminatory, ableist comments from posters?

Hi @ArtixLynx thanks for your comments. Disablist/ableist comments would be deleted if reported to us. Examples include posts suggesting that it's wrong to implement measures that enable people with disabilities to live a full life or the use of offensive terminology.

We appreciate that there may be a lack of understanding for the challenges faced by people with SN or the parents of SN children. We can see how it could be soul destroying. Such posts may not necessarily break guidelines based on that alone but we'd need to look at this in context.

Improving our moderation on disablism/ablism is something we're continuing to discuss but please do continue to report anything you think we ought to see and share your thoughts with us - it's enormously helpful. Thank you.
