Is there a way to time limit the number of threads I'm on?

Apologies if I’m repeating what someone else has already said, couldn’t see another thread

Is there a way (as we used to be able to) to set it so that threads drop off our watched list if we haven't posted on it for 3/5/7 days?

I have no interest in a thread I posted on 7 weeks ago being bumped back into my list.

Currently I’m on 2384 threads…

Can you just hide the thread? I usually do but I don't use watching, I only use threads I'm on.

I can but I prefer them to just disappear like they used to.

Yeah I'm talking about Threads I'm on rather than Watching.

Since the update every thread I've ever commented on has reappeared.

Ah can you change the sort order? I'm sure there used to be an option to sort by how recently you've posted in the thread yourself vs how recently anyone has posted.

Oh, I like it, I used to find it annoying losing ones I wanted to refer back to (mainly Woolly Hugs ones in chat), and it's nice to see some of the old ones pop back up again when I'd forgotten or lost them.

Thanks for this! We'll have a chat about the feedback - it's tricky though. Lots of people don't want threads to disappear at all! In the meantime, can you hide threads that you're no longer interested in?

Apparently not, I asked this once. I hardly look at my TIO as they become so out of date now.

I mean I can but there are over 2000 threads that I'm apparently on.
It used to be that there was an option in settings that you could tick in order to unwatch threads after a set number of days. Would be great if that could be reinstated and people who wanted to keep all threads on their list could just ignore that setting.

I think I just hate the clutter! Smile

I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE a setting where you could tick 'un-watch if you haven't posted on this thread in 7 days'. As you could do pre-update.

I DO NOT need to see every thread I have posted on since 2012. Come on.

The software update should not be making the site less use friendly. But it seems it is.

You can remove individual threads easily enough, on the mobile version of TIO touch the three dots next to the thread title and then Remove.

I like having old threads pop back up but have used this on quite a few.
