How can I see more than a height of 6cm of content?

I have attached a screenshot of what I typically see. The advert at the top and the massive blue strip below blocks content.

On a list of thread titles I can see two at a time.
On a thread I can read three or four lines.

It means being on Mumsnet is a continual scroll. And you can't even press page down anymore as you miss stuff.

Is this going to be changed?? Please!!
I am on a laptop on a chrome browser.

As you always ask about browsers I have tried Firefox and it is completely different on there; much better.

Would be great to have it on my usual browser Chrome as well though.
