Mumsnet with ND active section

This has been bought up a lot in the mm with Neurodiverse section and there are a lot of ats to @mnhq in posts about it (but not sure @ ing works.
Can the Neurodiverse mumsnet section be removed from active?
Alot of people have commented they can't see the nd section warning label at the top when they click through from trending, people commenting not realising what section it is etc, pretty sure the old mn with special needs used to not be in active, there are other boards that aren't included in active, can this be repeated with this section?

I’d also prefer it to be able to appear in Active on an opt-in basis rather than an opt-out. I keep forgetting it’s there.

Hi MNHQ. We seem to have the same issue as before. You have hidden it for everyone rather than making it "opt in".

I have the Neurodiverse section to appear on my Active threads (I even toggled it hidden and unhidden, just in case it needed to be turned off and on again so to speak) and the post I've just commented on in there isn't appearing in Active.

Hi @BertieBotts. No, afraid the entire topic is not appearing in Active at the moment, so we can see how that affects things on the topic and how everyone feels about it. So there's no opt in currently. We will pass on your opt-in idea though and see if that's a possibility. As soon as there's any news about how the test to exclude it from Active worked and what we're going to do going forward, we will let you know.
