No deletion messages since site update

is this the new way now? Since the site was updated I haven't seen a single deletion message. Is it only available to those posters who pay? Its incredibly annoying going through my I'm on list or I'm watching and not finding something.

I am on android tablet using chrome.

Just to let you know - you should be seeing deleted threads and their deletion messages. We're aware of the issue and working on a fix. Flowers

Hi all, and apologies about the deletion messages - we have been writing them on threads that we take down but at the moment they're not available to view.

This is because we're rebuilding all of the user lists (the I’m On, Watching etc.) and the deletion messages won't appear until that piece of work goes live.

Unfortunately, it's a large project so it may well be a couple of weeks. In the meantime, we'll try to post reasons for deletion on the live threads before we take them down.

Yes this is very annoying, seeing as a lot of posters post with advice and concern for the OP.

Can anyone tell me what happened to the thread an Op posted last last night about how she made a mistake at work with a dishwasher and her employers were being horrible? I posted on the thread and it has gone now.

That one was a 'taking a look behind the scenes' deletion message. We had a number of reports (and some concerns of our own) so we took it down to investigate. Apols, but we won't be reinstating it because we're not sure that the OP was here with good intentions.

Sorry @knittingaddict fun is in short supply at the moment. But for the time being we'll try to bring it back with some in-thread deletion messages.
