Weird response to offer of a guest post on women's health

Hi MNHQ, I'm posting here rather than using the contactus email to draw attention to a strange response.

I suggested to a friend who's a women's health researcher that she contacts you with a view to doing a guest post of some sort, as her area of research would be of interest to many MNers, and she has an upcoming event that equally might be of interest.

I was very disappointed to see the response she received (see image). I've been here a long time and know that this is nonsense!

I'll report my post, but could you please check your inbox and respond as it is a great offer to share info on a very important topic.

How strange. And not very transparent, if this is the case.
I'm sure there have been folk who've offered to do guest posts in the past.

I wonder if there was an element of lost-in-translation, the person offering may not have used the exact buzzwords or whatever, so at first glance the email seemed a cheeky punt?

I wondered that and asked what she'd written, and it was super clear.

How strange. I am sure we have had plenty of Guest Posts in the past - I have even read some of them.

Women's health is an important topic at the moment. So much of it is considered niche or mundane and doesn't make headlines.
