Still have 5 blanks rows at the top of board, and can't change any user settings, notifications have been turned on

I know there are loads of threads and you're working through the issues, but one is new and one has been a problem since the site change.

I'm on Firefox, mobile browser on Android, and desktop - same issues on both.

I'm still seeing 5 blank rows (blue and white striped rows) at the top of 'Active' or any sub-board (e.g. AIBU, Site Stuff). The list of threads begins under the 5 blank rows.

Also - this is new. My "Customise - Settings" here www.mumsnet.com/settings/talk has no changeable settings. I had definitely switched off email notifications for everything last week/sometime after the change, and had changed other settings like the colour of OP/my posts.
Notifications are back on again, and I'm getting tons of emails, and I can't change this.

(I also second, again, the plea to have the OP be collapsed - but expandable - o page 2+ of all threads!)

Same 5 blank rows here.
On safari on iPhone

GAHgamel · 30/04/2022 03:20

Same with the 5 blank rows on Firefox on Windows.

daimbarsatemydogsbone · 30/04/2022 11:07

I have 5 blank rows on desktop (Windows 10 and Chrome). On my phone using Safari, they appear but I cannot comment on the pinned threads as it tries to make me log in - if if Log in and return to the thread it thinks I'm logged out.

FiveShelties · 30/04/2022 11:17

Yes, five blank rows here too. Windows 10 and Edge.

Anonforquestion · 30/04/2022 11:53

Are you using an ad blocker?

I noticed I get the blank rows when I use my laptop (which has one). When I use my phone (which doesn’t) I see five rows of promoted/sponsored threads instead (basically threads created to advertise products).

HellyR · 30/04/2022 13:42

Huh, good question. I definitely do on my laptop, and I assume I do on phone as I just see the word "ADVERTISEMENT" but can't find one under about setting or add-on! That probably explains it.

Definitely no ad blocker here - as the giant ad proves! - and having the same problem. On a desktop it's fine, but on the mobile site (on Chrome) I get the blank lines.

I have the blank rows too - Firefox on a Windows 10 laptop.

EatSleepReplete · 03/05/2022 22:21

I have this too, on my Samsung tablet but they show up ok on my iPhone. Neither has any ad blocking.

ItsTheTreasure · 04/05/2022 07:33

I came to site stuff looking for a thread on this. No ad blocker here, on Chrome android.

Really annoying as I forget and sit waiting for threads to loads before I realise I need to scroll down again! Would love this to be fixed please

BarbaraofSeville · 04/05/2022 08:44

In the five lines, I get sticky threads/ads with tag line 'promoted by Mumsnet'

If the pictures are still tiny so you can't read them, there's one about 'find out what Mumsnetters thought of MAM Soothers, a similar one about the Peleton bike, one asking Mumsnetters for their views on politics, a webchat with Dr Zoe Williams about Long Covid and the Mumsnet what a mess the replatforming was thread.

I'm not using an ad blocker. Most of the times I get the blank five lines. Sometimes I don't, but it's rare.

This new site just doesn't work.

ItsTheTreasure · 04/05/2022 13:10

Oh, weird, mine are always blank.

Recaffe · 07/05/2022 10:00

Have come here to see if this has been fixed yet, any news for an update @KimMumsnet?
