FFS MN! THE IOS APP!

Sorry for the caps but I feel like I've posted on loads of relevant threads and haven't seen any replies, nor has anything been fixed. It's been a week now.

Are there any updates on the issues such as bookmarks not working, threads showing as having new posts when they don't and threads I post on not moving into threads I'm watching please.

My book marks are not working
Screen stops scrolling or when scrolling logs me out back on to my phone home page.
I can't post pictures
I go onto watching and have zombie threads, doesn't matter how often I remove/hide they bounce back.
Really not liking this update and your right no major feed back from @mnhq
Just the usual oops we are looking into it.
I'm not highly technical but fuck me this upgrade isn't fit for purpose and I'm cancelling my mums net premium as seems a waste

Hi both - we've fixed many things on the app - and have lots of users saying most of the issues are fixed for them. Unfortunately we still seem to have some gremlins which mean that there are bugs for certain users. These are super tricky to fix as we need to be able to track down exactly what's going on - which is really hard if we can't recreate them on the devices we're using (and we're testing on a lot of different devices and browsers I promise).

First thing - can I ask if you've logged out of the app and logged back in again?

Yes logged in and out on all my devices. Desk top site works fine, it's the app I'm having trouble with.
Couldn't change my user name back on the app , but could on desk top.
Can add photos on desk top but not on app.
It's iOS 15.4.1 update on iPhone.
Seems Apple doesn't like Mumsnet

Still having issues with the app after logging out and back in again. Tried to change back to my most used username and it says it's not available!

I've logged out and in twice, deleted and reinstalled the app. Everything fine for me except that my watched posts show there's new posts when there's not.

@xreadytoglow mine is doing that too. Also still bringing threads I've previously hidden back into my watch list.

I had to delete and reinstall the app for mine to work again. Now it's perfect👌

My bookmarks are very hit and miss, sometimes it goes to the most recent one, sometimes to a much older one.

Also I'm getting threads from boards I've hidden in my active threads list, which is very irritating.

iPhone 12, latest iOS, using the app.

Same for me on iOS 15.4.1.

Logged out and in again but there are no watched threads anymore. Bookmarks not working either.

Mine is also having problems. I'm on threads aren't on my watching list, threads lit up to say new posts but there's nothing new. I've reinstalled, logged out and back in and still no joy. And lots of posts with repeatedly along with zombie threads.

Same problems here. Over and over again I bookmark the last post in a thread and every time I open it again it reverts back to a post I bookmarked on Monday. So annoying!

Also, threads I post on don't appear in my watch list.

Watched threads I unwatch appear again, and some watched threads have disappeared from my list. This has improved a lot recently though.

The active page seems to be a lot of posts I've already seen, as if there's little traffic to the site. Not refreshing.

IOS app on iPhone, I've logged out and back in several times, I've deleted the app and reinstalled it. Still the same.

Logged out and in again a few times, deleted and reinstalled app, still being told my most commonly used usernames are already taken. Annoying!! I want my proper identity back 😂

You should probably check your cookie logs. I alone have accepted more cookies in the last week than your average user base would’ve in a month!

it’s even worse today - won’t let me read the next page on a thread. Just “permission denied”

I'm having the same problems on iOS 15.4.1 - bookmarks not sticking In the right place. Threads are showing new posts and there aren't any. I've logged out and logged in again

When a thread is deleted if you go out of it and select a different thread it also tells you that one's deleted.

You have to force close the app and reopen it to be able to view any other threads.

The threads I've posted on are constantly showing as having new posts but don't. That's if I can get into that section.

I've logged out and back in again but no difference. It's really making the app difficult to use. And as I don't use the desktop version for me it's making the site difficult to use.
