Why not roll back to the previous version of talk until you sort out all the known issues. You are already going to start losing Mnetters who just can't be bothered after 3 days of hell on this new version

I’ve posted another thread in site stuff about the fact that half the app is inaccessible to voiceover users and anyone else who has to use keyboard shortcuts due to the fact they’ve been removed and all the emoticons are unlabelled.

I read somewhere that this farce took 3 years to develop. Their developers must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Maybe time to take to social media and the tabloids who advertise here so gleefully? They might not be so keen if they realise that MN’ers are so pissed off at the site.

Alternative I had a quick look at twitter the other day and couldn't see a single complaint about the issues, even though Twitter is normally most people's first go-to when they want to be heard. Made me wonder if someone at hq was deleting them off....

And that server error thing is just bloody patronising. “We’re making a strong cuppa?” Come on. At least take this shitshow seriously. Right now you’re following the typical stereotype of the little woman sitting having a cup of tea and “having a natter” with her mates.

Don’t patronise your users. Without them you won’t have a site, and you’re making great strides towards driving them away right now.

Agree. It's not as funny as you think, MNHQ. The site has been horribly glitchy, and it is still so slow to load, esp. on my phone.

I use Mumsnet on my phone. I dislike all the changes. I don’t like they threads posted on today have the date on, instead of saying “today”. It’s not a good experience. I have hardly been on because I dislike it so much.

Also on my phone, I’m forever having to adjust the page. It moves about; and the fonts are too big so I have to pinch the screen to get it to sit properly. Really irritating, this new site is a disaster.
