Awful adverts

Please help me get rid of the huge adverts appearing at top of screen

I understand mn needs to have ads - but I’m getting ones of animal cruelty and that is beyond the pale. I’d rather see a vagina candle in situ.

I’m out for the rest of the day at least - I’m going to be upset all day now.

Agree. Makes the site hard to read on my mobile.

I'm so glad I haven't had the foot. Wtf does the maker of that advert think will encourage people to a product. The mid thread ads are also a massive pain. Keep clicking on them when i scroll by accident so it will look like where actually interested, which I certainly am not 😏

I saw this on my "threads I'm on" and thought someone had an ad of a Sinister Bum Faced Cat.

Also - are the ads coming after the OP on threads, or halfway through the threads?

Android device.
Once you click on a thread the giant photo appears and stays there. You can't actually see what it is for as it seems only to be a part of the image. I keep getting a girl with a ponytail or a woman with blond bobbed hair either side profile or the back of her head!

iPhone here on safari. The ad appears above even the OP for me, and as you scroll down the page it follows you instead of staying static at the top.

@KimMumsnet it can also come on the 'active' page before I even click on a thread.

Mobile version on iPhone is unusable: only 1-1.5 Cms of posts are visible. That bloody cow!
