Is anyone else finding this at the moment? I'm using Chrome on my laptop and every time I open a thread it opens on a new page.

This could be a couple of things... We recently launched the new site (which we had to pull back on, and postpone). This did leave some problems with accessing the site that are resolved by clearing your Mumsnet cookies.
However, as the site is actually working okay for you - it sounds like it's more to do with your browser settings.
We've found this quite helpful -
'Launch Chrome and find your account on the top right of the screen. It is the image or initial you have set. Next, click on the Manage Your Google Account option. It will take you to your account settings. Click on the Data and personalization option from the menu on the left. Go to Activity Control and click on Web and App activity. Disable it and you are done.
Chrome > Google Account > Manage Your Google Account > Data and personalization > Activity Controls > Web and App Activity > Disable'
