Can we PLEASE have a way to remove hidden topics from Trending?

Thanks for raising this. We do understand that some of you will want to avoid this whole subject and we're sorry that seeing endless threads about it is causing you anxiety.

The fact is, the threads that show in the Trending box aren't chosen by us - they're based on algorithms which show the five most-viewed threads at any point in time. So while some of you are keen to avoid them, it's clear that many others do want to see these threads still.

Unfortunately we're not able to tailor the Trending box for individual users and so all we can suggest is that you use the 'hide thread' function, which means that these threads won't show up in your list of Active Conversations.

If you're able to switch to the app, you can avoid the Trending box completely as it just shows the list of Active Conversations.
