Some ad is autoplaying the same few bars over and over again. I can't see what it is as it's happened now when I have active convos open so I can't even see the stupid ad, just hear the doom-laden music.
Sounds like a video game?

Hi Clymene that sounds super frustrating.
Is it across all threads or just this one or is it a bit random?
It's still with our ads team. While they look it might be worth reinstalling the app just in case that fixes things.

Hello and sorry for the delay in getting back to a couple of you here.
For anyone still having this issue, it was also discussed here.
It looks like the music is coming from an ad choice advert served by Google. If you can see an ad, click on the blue arrow to the top right of the ad and select to not see that ad anymore.
Hopefully that resolves things for you. Let us know if not.
