When I use mumsnet on my laptop it is showing my email address instead of my user name under "Add your message here". I use Firefox. I have to manually change it to my user name on every thread I respond to.
Any idea why this is happening?

Hi @RampantIvy thanks for reporting this. Please can you try completely signing out of the site and back in again? Give us a shout if you continue to see this issue.

Hi - just dropping in to say thanks for the reports. It appears to be your browsers auto-populating that section, so we're looking to fix this now and will keep you posted.

Hi, we've had a look into this and made a change to the username field to try and stop browsers auto filling details. Could you please let us know if you are still seeing the issue? And if so which browser / device.
