Mumsnet sinks to new low

Some threads now have black boxes blocking the top of the thread, usually the original post and the replies immediately beneath. The black box tells me to rotate my browser, presumably for an ad. Ridiculous, can’t even read the thread!

This happened for me, too - also on iPad. Very annoying.

Still happening this afternoon (Sunday 26th)

I just got it & found this thread. It's been happening for days now. It's rare but infuriating: out of nowhere an advert for Jersey comes up & obscures most of the screen vertically & all of the width. IIRC I can scroll a bit but some of the thread is always missing. A video plays & I always hit 'back' at that point.

It's happening for me too. I'm on the desktop site, Silk browser on a kindle fire.

Thanks for the updates - if anyone else can post screenshots, they would be really helpful. Our team is checking the issue now.

Haven't had it happen today but will try to grab a screenshot next time it does.

At least refreshing the page is solving the issue straight away. But it’s annoying.
