Loss of tool bar in safari/Apple phone.

Have had to come on the desktop. For the last 2 days the usual bar when you scroll down that gives you options for “active”, “threads I’m on” etc is completely missing, meaning on safari on an iPhone I can’t use MN at all unless each time I have to google active threads. In a topic I also no longer have the “add thread” button which is on the toolbar so I couldn’t post this question whilst on my mobile.
I need MN in my life on my mobile when I’m pinned to the sofa! Please help.
Can’t take a screenshot to show what I mean as it’s not there!

Update, it’s popped up once in 2 days and lots of use. Please help me work out where it’s gone as MN is pretty clunky and unusable without it and I can’t get to threads in on etc

Hi @TreeTed thanks for reporting this. Please can we check that you haven't accidentally turned this feature off?

The option is in the chevron menu at the top of a talk thread. If you click the arrow/chevron menu there is an option which says "show shortcut buttons" (or "hide shortcut buttons"). Please can you check that you haven't accidentally selected to hide them?

We had this the other day and we figured out you have to minimise the keyboard and then tap outside the typing area. For some reason whatever hides it when the keyboard shows doesn't un-hide it again afterwards if you're still "clicked" in the text area.

Did not know that existed and I surely don’t remember doing it, but just have accidentally pressed it half asleep sometime.
